Ashley EsquivelProgram Coordinator

Ashley Esquivel currently serves as a Program Coordinator with the Population Health team. In her current role, she supports the Deputy Director of Population Health with the team’s Quality Improvement initiatives. Prior to joining the team as a Program Coordinator, she worked as a data intern with CHP’s Epidemiologist and Data Analyst, focusing primarily on the development of the Neighborhood Profiles Project.
Ashley is a recent graduate from San José State University, where she graduated with honors in the Public Health program, and a minor in Child and Adolescent Development. During her time at SJSU, she worked with the Children’s Discovery Museum of San José as a volunteer. She also supported CommUniverCity with their Cooking Matters program, where she worked with a group to create and facilitate lessons with the CORAL after school program, to teach youth in San José’s elementary schools the importance of nutrition in order to combat rates of childhood obesity.
