Community Health Partnership completed its second cohort of the Leadership Academy program with nine participants from our member community health centers: AACI, Gardner Health Services, Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley, North East Medical Services, Peninsula HealthCare Connection, and Ravenswood Family Health Network.
The Leadership Academy was first initiated in 2023 from the need to develop a local plan to address workforce needs by investing in our local talent. Through research and conversations with the CEOs of our community health centers, we were able to launch our Academy last September with the goal to strengthen the participants’ confidence in their leadership skills, build community, and promote health systems that demonstrate respect and compassion for our diverse communities.
On December 5, 2024, we celebrated the graduation of our leaders with Gilroy City Councilwoman Rebeca Armendariz as our keynote speaker. Leaders received their certificate of completion and delivered their purpose statement that will serve as a guide for their life and work goals. Big congratulations to our 2024 cohort, we are very proud of what they have achieved this year.
Thank you to all of our participating member community health centers for cultivating a new generation of leaders.
