Mr. Tarango is the Director of Workforce Development and the Director of the South Bay Area Health Education Center Director at CHP. In these roles, Jesse develops  health professions training programs, focuses on increasing the diversity of the healthcare workforce, strengthens collaborations, and develops partnerships between institutions with complimentary missions.

Since joining CHP in 2015, Jesse has both led and supported projects in the areas of workforce development, health coverage, and policy. Mr. Tarango currently oversees the Community Health Worker training program, AHEC program, and the Overdose Data To Action program.
